Players to Watch (CSI): The Dolphins got off to a strong start against the Lions on Wednesday due in large part to the performance of the team's leading scorer
Megan McEwan who finished the game with 18 points, four assists, four steals, and no turnovers on 7-16 shooting. Unfortunately for CSI, the rest of the Dolphins did not shoot well in the game against Molloy, but
Jada Rogers has hit an efficient 43.3% of her shots and scored 9.7 points per game through nine games this season.
Diana Todaro is also up above the 40% mark scoring 7 per game and has taken the team lead in rebounding with 7.4 per contest.
Kayla Schmitter is just shy of the 40% shooting mark scoring 9.3 per game and
Deidre Foster's 41% field-goal percentage and 6.6 rebounds per game are both good for second on the team.
Players to Watch (MSMC): Morina Bojka leads the Knights with 17.9 points per game on an impressive 60% from the floor. Perhaps even more impressive are the numbers of Annie Keenan who is averaging a double-double while scoring 13.6 and collecting 10.7 rebounds. Lyndsay Pace and Lauren Desrats are both averaging double-digits as well with 12 and 11.6 per game respectively. Completing the starting five that has started all seven games for the Knights is Toriana Tabasco who is tied with Pace for second on the team in rebounding with 5.7.
News & Notes: These two teams last met just over one year ago in Newburgh, NY, when the Knights defeated the Dolphins by a final score of 57-40. Though the Dolphins have shot the ball far better in their last three games, their shooting percentage for the season is only 36.3%. That is nearly 7% below the 43.1% shooting of the Knights, but the two teams have very similar rebounding numbers with the Knights grabbing 44.1 and the Dolphins pulling in 42.
What's Next?: The Knights will be playing on New Year's Eve in Vermont when they face Middlebury College. The Dolphins will return to action on the road to begin 2020 when they take on John Jay College on January 4
