Players to Watch (YC):   York is getting quality production from sophomore Mac-Dege Dessources, as she is posting 12.5 points per game as YC's only double-digit scorer.  That goes with 12.8 rebounds per contest as well.  Both Ellma Hodzic and Daniesha Newsome are next in line with 9 points apiece as an average, while Destiny Drummond follows at 8.8 per contest.  Kristina Sierra is a threat from downtown as she has posted 13 three's this season and look for Keyla Cabrera is a force on the boards coming off of the bench as she is posting 7.2 rebounds per game.
News & Notes:  These two teams have been meeting since 1982, and CSI has dominated the series winning 67 of the 75 all-time meetings.  CSI has won 18-straight in the series but one of those games turned into a forfeit win for York, putting CSI on a more modest two-game win streak in the series.  CSI has won eight in a row in Jamaica when facing the Cardinals and come in 29-5 all-time on the road against York.  The Cardinals last win at home against CSI came in the 2010-11 season, a 64-59, triumph.
What's Next?:  The CSI women will join the men for another road doubleheader against a CUNYAC opponent on Wednesday, January 8, when they face off against Hunter College.  Game times are 5 & 7 PM.
