All-Time Series: CSI leads, 55-15
Last Meeting:  January 15, 2020, CSI won 69-66
Players to Watch (CSI):   Andrew Kartalis surpassed 18 points for the third consecutive game on Tuesday when the scored a career-high 21 in the Dolphins 82=49 win over York.  He now joins Adeola Latunji, who is averaging 20.7 points per game, and Joseph Zieris, who is averaging 10.9 per game, as the only Dolphins scoring at least 10 per contest.  Latunji and Zieris are also the team's two leading rebounders with 6.9 and 5.5. respectively.  Rigaud Destime has seen his scoring average climb to just shy of 9.0 points per game to go along with and his 58 assists on the season, second to only Austin Mick.  Mick's 64 dimes lead the team and he has scored 7.9 per game on 40% shooting from the field and 38% from beyond the arc.  That mark from long range leads the team with no other Dolphin that has attempted more than 30 three-pointers shooting any better than 33.3% from downtown.
Players to Watch (LC):  The Lightning are led offensively by Isaiah Geathers' 18.6 points per game and Gian Batista's 17.3 points per game.  They are both shooting the ball efficiently as well with Geathers connecting on 51.3% of his shot attempts and Batista hitting on 43.1% of his.  The duo is also tied for second on the team in rebounding at 7.2 per game trailing only Alex Hanson who is pulling down 7.4 per game.  Hanson not only leads the team in rebounding, but is also shooting a team-high 63.4% from the floor.  The third of three Lehman players averaging double-figures is Tommy Batista who comes in scoring 10.1 per game on 41.6% shooting.  Rounding out the regular starting five for Lehman and sitting just behind Batista on the Lightning list of leading scorers is Mo Idrissou with 9.7 per game to go along with a 40.6% shooting percentage from three-point range.
News & Notes:  These two teams last met in mid-January in a game that came right down to the wire which saw the Dolphins pull out a three-point 69-66 at The Tank.  Zieris scored 20 for CSI, and both Latunji and Mick had 18 in one of the most well-balanced offensive efforts of the season for CSI.  No Lightning player scored more than 12 points in the game which saw Lehman squander a five-point halftime lead and the loss was their fourth straight against the Dolphins.  The Lightning last won against CSI in the 2017-2018 season when they beat CSI in both regular-season meetings between the two sides before ultimately losing to the Dolphins in the CUNYAC Championship game.  CSI has yet to earn a season-series sweep against any of their CUNYAC rivals this year and will be looking to do so with a win over Lehman College tonight.  The Dolphins will also be in search of their third consecutive victory which would give them their longest winning streak of the season.  As the Dolphins see their shooting percentages continue to rise they have now reached 43% from the field and 31% from downtown this season.  However, the Lightning have been even better as they are shooting 45.1% from the field and 34% from beyond the arc.  Defensively Lehman has held the opposition to just below 40% shooting from the floor and only 30.7% from three-point range.
What's Next?:  The Dolphins will play their second straight game on the road on Monday at Brooklyn College which will be the final game CSI plays away from The Tank this season.
