Staten Island, NY – The College of Staten Island Women's Soccer team fell to Wilmington University, 4-0, earlier this afternoon at WU Athletics Complex in Delaware. The loss drops the Dolphins to, 2-10-1 overall, while the Wildcats improve to 6-3-2 overall in what was a non-conference matchup. CSI will jump right back into ECC action this Saturday facing St. Thomas Aquinas in their third road game in a row.

KEY MOMENTS
CSI's
Jenna Como registered the Dolphins only shot in the first half of play that went wide left. Meanwhile, the Wildcats took an early, 1-0 lead in the first half, off the foot of Jimena Garcia Risoto at the 14:26 mark, that went well over CSI Goalie
Sara Villacres. Villacres saved two other shots after allowing the goal to keep CSI down only one entering halftime. The Wildcats continued their pressure from the start of the second half, scoring three more goals within the first ten minutes of play before a final of, 4-0.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
The Wildcats pressured CSI the entire first half, registering nine shots to the Dolphins one in the first half. That would be CSI's only shot attempt, as the Wildcats fired off another 15 shots, giving them 24 total shots for the game, eight of which were on goal. CSI was forced to play defense for most of the game, yet only registered five fouls, all in the second half due to the Wildcats spreading the field well enough to keep CSI defenders from getting to close to cause a foul. WU's Rockesha Dayes, tallied two goals and an assist in the game on five shots leading them to the win.

DOLPHINS OF THE GAME
The Dolphins defense, along with Freshmen Goalie, Villacres had their hands full and helped keep the score low as it could have been much worst due to the number of scoring opportunities the Wildcats had, mostly in the second half. Villacres faced eight shots on goal, saving four of them, while CSI's team defense saved another one deep in the box.
