CSI SWIMMING & DIVING EARNS TWO VICTORIES BEHIND SEVERAL RECORD-BREAKING PERFORMANCES

Staten Island, NY - The College of Staten Island Men's & Women's Swimming & Diving hosted the first-ever ECC Invite this afternoon at The Tank. The women took both Queens College and Roberts-Wesleyan College while the Men took on Roberts-Wesleyan. The women beat Queens College by a score of 133 to 75 and on the men's side the Dolphins beat the Redhawks 132 to 96. 

INSIDE THE MEET

Anthony Attenborough broke another Dolphin's team record this week in the 1000 free at a time of 9.49.99. Anthony surpassed Tim Sweeney's record that was set in 2015 with a time of 10.00.28. Jessica Johnson narrowly missed the team record for the 50 free event with a time of 25.77. The time to beat was 25.22. These weren't the last of CSI's record-setting performances on the afternoon. Michael Stora set a pool record with his time in the 200-yard breaststroke, Jordan Swanson scored 245.05 in one-meter diving, and the men's 200-yard medley team of Stora, Max Kleyer, David Poggioli, and Charles Cusumano finished in record time.

DOLPHINS OF THE MEET

The Dolphins of the meet will go to Anthony Attenborough and Jessica Johnson. Anthony's record-breaking performance in the 1000 free and Jessica's near record-setting time in the 50 free helped lead their team.
