Swimming and Diving Meet Day - NE10 Championships (2026)

MEETDAY: SWIMMING AND DIVING RETURNS TO NE10 CHAMPIONSHIPS

WORCESTER, Mass. — The College of Staten Island Swimming & Diving teams will travel to Worcester, Mass., to compete in the four-day Northeast 10 (NE10) Championship, beginning Thursday, Feb. 12, and running through Sunday, Feb. 15. This year marks the Dolphins' third consecutive season competing as associate members of the conference and joining CSI in this year's championship meet are Adelphi University, Assumption University, Bentley University, Felician University, Pace University, Saint Michael's College, Southern Connecticut State University, and the University of Bridgeport. During the 2024–25 season, the CSI men's team finished fifth overall, while the women placed eighth. As the Dolphins continue to progress in their Division II era, the swimming and diving program has continued to make history. Yubal Parra was named NE10 Diver of the Meet in 2024–25 and went on to earn the program's second-ever NCAA Division II appearance while becoming CSI Swimming & Diving's first All-American.

As the Dolphins imrpove, they have collected numerous weekly conference honors. Parra earned four NE10 Diver of the Week awards, while Maria Janecka was recognized three times as Diver/Rookie of the Week and Jacqueline DeFranco also garnered three Diver of the Week honors. Additionally, Polly Struck was named Rookie of the Week a handful times throughout the season, and William Kwan earned Swimmer of the Week recognition.

Success for CSI Swimming & Diving extends outside of the Tank. Both the men's and women's teams were named CSCAA Division II Fall Scholar All-America Teams, highlighting their academic excellence. Individually, 19 student-athletes were selected to the NE10 Fall Academic Honor Roll, including two earning Academic Excellence honors with a 4.0 GPA, 15 recognized for Academic Distinction, and two receiving Academic Honors.
