Staten Island, NY – The College of Staten Island Men's Basketball team (4-10 overall) will play in their first of three straight road games this afternoon. The Dolphins first stop is Wilmington, Delaware for a non-conference matchup against the Lighting of Goldey-Beacom College (8-7 overall). Game time is slated to start at 1:00 PM at the
Joseph West Jones Center. This will be the first meeting ever between both squads. The Dolphins are currently 1-5 in non-conference games this season. The one win came in an upset to a then undefeated Pace University team.
LAST TIME OUT
This past Wednesday, CSI lost a tough one as they saw a double-digit lead in the second half slip away in a 71-69 defeat to conference foe The University of the District of Columbia. The Lighting come back home after a win on the road at Wilmington University, 70-66. The Dolphins have lost their last two games while the Lighting come in riding a three-game winning streak, which is their longest of the season.

Messiah Mallory recorded his fifth straight (six total) double-double of the season with a 23 and 10 game.
Austin Mick was the only other Dolphin in double figures with 13 points on 3-7 shooting.
Luis Armas is playing his best stretch of basketball, now averaging 24 minutes per game in his last four games played. In that span he is averaging 10 points per-game with seven made 3PT field goals.
