Staten Island, NY | The College of Staten Island faced off against the Lions today. The Dolphins dropped a tough one to Molloy College, 10-2. Today's game puts CSI at 9-20 (2-10 ECC) on the season, as the opposing Lions improve to 25-11 (11-2 ECC) overall.
KEY MOMENTS
Molloy College got things started in the bottom of the first inning to take 1-0 advantage. CSI tacked on their first run of the game in the top of the second inning. Gardner flied one out to rightfield and Cippoletti singled to center. He would steal second as Campisi would then fly one out to rightfield. Kehoe would reach on a throwing error by shortstop and Cippoletti scored. The game was knotted at one run apiece. The Lions would scratch in the second and fourth innings to take a 4-1 lead. The Dolphins would add on a sole run in the top of the fifth behind a Marten single up the middle after Castiglione doubled to left center. Castiglione would score CSI's last run of the game as the Lions ran away with it late. Molloy won 10-2.

Domenick Castiglione registered a 1-for-4 performance as he doubled with one run.
Nick Cippoletti was 1-for-3 with one run and one stolen base.

Ryan Kehoe took on the pitching duties as they combined for six strikeouts. The opposing Lions tallied 10 runs, 14 hits, and two errors in the game.
