Staten Island, NY | The College of Staten Island faced off against the Saints today. The Dolphins dropped a tough one to D'Youville University, 3-2. Today's game puts CSI at 10-25 (3-15 ECC) on the season, as the opposing Saints improve to 14-20 (7-11 ECC) overall.

KEY MOMENTS
In what was a low scoring affair, the Saints would scratch early in the top of the first inning to take 1-0 advantage. They would add to this total with a two-run fourth inning to extend their advantage to 3-0. CSI would tack on sole runs late in the contest. In the bottom of the eighth, Ulaj singled up the middle which led to a Myers score. Behind a Kehoe single to second base, Cippoletti would score in the bottom of the ninth. The Dolphins fell short 3-2.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE 
The Dolphins tallied two runs, 11 hits, and one error in the contest. Jake Myers registered a 1-for-4 performance with one run. Nick Cippoletti finished with a 1-for-4 game with one run. Michael Kehoe was 3-for-4 for a double with one RBI. Shendi Ulaj went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Thomas Marten doubled and was 3-for-4. Pat Gardner and Steven Collica took on the pitching duties as they combined for 10 strikeouts. The opposing Saints tallied three runs, 9 hits, and two errors in the game.
