Staten Island, NY | The College of Staten Island faced off against the Saints today. The Dolphins dropped a tough one to D'Youville University, 3-2. Today's game puts CSI at 10-25 (3-15 ECC) on the season, as the opposing Saints improve to 14-20 (7-11 ECC) overall.
KEY MOMENTS
In what was a low scoring affair, the Saints would scratch early in the top of the first inning to take 1-0 advantage. They would add to this total with a two-run fourth inning to extend their advantage to 3-0. CSI would tack on sole runs late in the contest. In the bottom of the eighth, Ulaj singled up the middle which led to a Myers score. Behind a Kehoe single to second base, Cippoletti would score in the bottom of the ninth. The Dolphins fell short 3-2.
