MEETDAY: OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD COMPETES IN TCNJ INVITATIONAL

Ewing, NJ - The College of Staten Island Outdoor Track & Field Team competes in the third meet of the season this afternoon as they take part in the TCNJ Invitational. Today will be the fourth time the Dolphins have participated in this particular meet. Their first appearance in the TCNJ Invitational came all the way back in 2017 when the CSI Track & Field Program was in its infancy.

For the CSI women, Jazmine Severo took first in the High-Jump during last week's Muhlenberg Invitational to earn her a spot on the East Coast Conference Weekly Honor Roll. Improving upon her mark from the previous week's Stockton Invite, she achieved a height of 1.62m. In throws, Skylar Pointer and Aryanna Finkelstein placed 16^th and 19^th in the Shot Put. In the Discus, Ava Thompson finished 20th and Angelina Guerriero competed in both the 200 and 400 Meter Dash.

For the CSI men, Stephen Andes competed in the Long Jump and Cole Enslen competed in the Javelin Throw last week. On the track, Omar Sheriff, Jamel Reynolds, Alan Bass, Matthew Amato and Pedro Astudillo competed, and both Amato and Astudillo achieved personal-bests in the 1500 Meter Run.
