The CSI men earned ten medals in the meet including a pair by Vincent Ohenhen.  The senior took first in both the 100-Meter and 200-Meter capping off a record-setting career filled with plenty of conference championship medals.  Three Dolphins placed in the top five in the 400-Meter as Steven Elcock took the gold with program record-setting time of 49.23s.  Ibrahima Diallo earned a bronze medal as well, and Karran Riley placed fifth in the event.  Jeremiah Downer and Christopher O'Briend earned the CSI men two more medals in the 400 Hurdles.  Downer also set a new program record in the event with a time of 56.93s.  The CSI men narrowly missed the gold by .04 seconds in the 4x100 Relay, but the unit of Sam Whelan, Nicholas Runfola, Elcock, and Ohenhen set a new program record with a time of 42.16s.  The CSI men also took the silver in the 4x400 as Elcock, Josmy Cerda, DIallo and Riley posted a time of 3:22.66.  Finally, the men set another record with a third-place effort in the 4x800 as Wayne Stephenson, Zayden Williams, Kelon Martin, and O'Brien achieved a time of 8:39.56.

The first record and medal for the CSI women belonged to Adonijah Washington in the 400 Hurdles.  The freshman took the bronze in the event behind a program record-setting time of 1:06.43.  The record in the 400 Hurdles was the first of two for Washington in the meet as she later set a new program record in the 100 Hurdles.  The CSI women also set a program record in the 4x100 Relay as Precious Dillon, Alexandra Tavarez, Alexis Doyle, and Inioluwa Ogunfowora combined to post a time of 51.47s, good for bronze.  Alexandrea Jackson, Angelina Guerriero, Camryn Koch, and Elizabeth Nicotra then set a second relay record in the 4x800 with a time of 10:49.40.  In the field, Guerriero added a record in the Javelin with a gold medal distance of 33.34m, the best in the field by nearly 2.5 meters.  Finally, Ava Thompson took the silver in the Discus with a program record-setting distance of 35.16m

In addition to fourteen medals and thirteen program records, the Dolphins set 23 PR's in the meet.  The individual record-setters all achieved PR's in their respective events.  In the 400 Hurdles, non-record PR's were achieved by Jackson, O'Brien and Chris Vazquez.  O'Brien also achieved another PR in thr 400 Meter and was joined by Kayla Larsen in doing the same.  Joseph Ortiz achieved a PR in the 200 Meter, and Kelon Martin posted a personal best in the 1500 Meter.  Walter Gavilanes achieved a pair of PR's in the 3K Steeplechase and 5K.

The Outdoor Track & Field Team currently does not have any additional meets on the schedule as they conclude the season with one of the best meet performances in the Division II history of the program.  With today's performance, the Dolphins continue their climb towards the top of the ECC, and the team continues to re-write the program record books.  They are poised for what is sure to be an exciting future as they look ahead to next season and beyond.
