Staten Island, NY - It was announced earlier this week that three Dolphins have been named to the East Coast Conference All-Conference Team following the 2023 Baseball season.  John Esposito and AJ Vigliotti were named to the All-Conference First Team and Ryan Kehoe was named to the All-Conference Second Team.  For Viglotti and Kehoe, the all-conference selection was their first, and for Esposito it was his second.

Kehoe had a breakout year in his second season with the Dolphins

Kehoe had a breakout year for the Dolphins in his sophomore season finishing second on the team in ERA and tied for the team lead in wins.  He improved in nearly every statistical category in his second season with the team and earned a pair of ECC Pitcher of the Week awards during the season.  Most notably, he struck out 94 batters in just 67 innings across twelve appearances and eleven starts.

Vigliotti had one of the best offensive seasons for the Dolphins in the past 20 years

Vigliotti made a major impact in his first season with the Dolphins leading the team in several major offensive categories including batting average, on-base percentage, and slugging percentage.  His 52 hits, 10 doubles, 4 home runs, and 34 RBI all led the team as well and he was named conference Player of the Week twice.  His .430 batting average was the highest for any Dolphin since the 2008 season.

Esposito departs the Dolphins as one of the most decorated pitchers in program history

Esposito departs the Dolphins as one of the most decorated pitchers in program history and lost just once in conference play this season.  He was also tied for the team lead in wins with six and earned a pair of ECC Pitcher of the Week awards during the season.  He ends his Dolphins career with a 3.87 ERA, 16 wins, and over 200 strikeouts in five years as part of the Baseball program.

The Dolphins will have quite a few vacancies to fill during the offseason with the graduation of twelve seniors.  They will also have to contend with one more playoff-eligible team next season as D'Youville becomes eligible for the postseason.  For the complete list of East Coast Conference All-Conference Team selections visit the ECC Website here.
