GAMEDAY: MEN'S BASKETBALL FACES UDC ON ALUMNI DAY

Staten Island, NY - The College of Staten Island Men's Basketball Team will look to continue their strong start in conference play this afternoon as they host the University of the District of Columbia at 1 PM. Ahead of today's game, Men's Basketball will also be hosting the team's Alumni Day which includes the Matty and Delores White Alumni Game at 11 AM. The Dolphins enter their matchup with the Firebirds at 10-6 overall and are 4-1 in conference play. Coming of a CSI single-game record with 8 blocks in last week's win against Daemen, Messiah Mallory enters today's game only 16 points shy of 1000 for his career. The Firebirds come in 5-9 on the season and 3-2 against the ECC. The two teams last met in the 2023 ECC Championship opening round when the Firebirds survived a late Dolphins run to take a 4-1 lead in the all-time series with an 85-75 win.
