GAMEDAY: WOMEN'S BASKETBALL VISITS BLOOMFIELD FOR FIRST ROAD GAME

Bloomfield, NJ - The College of Staten Island Women's Basketball Team will hit the road for the first time this season later tonight as they visit the Bloomfield College Bears. The Dolphins enter their matchup with the Bears at 1-1 on the season after splitting their two games during the 2024 Women's Basketball Conference Challenge over the weekend. Following the team's first two games, Jenalyse Alarcon was named both the East Coast Conference Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week. The CSI senior averaged 21 points, 5.5. rebounds, 5.5 steals, and 4 assists per game in two contests to open the season. Like the Dolphins, the Bears enter tonight's game with a record of 1-1 on the season. After dropping their opener against St. Michael's on Friday, Bloomfield knocked off Southern New Hampshire University on Sunday. The all-time series between the Bears and Dolphins is tied at one game apiece with CSI taking the win last November and the Bears winning the first-ever meeting two seasons ago.
