Staten Island, NY - The College of Staten Island Swimming & Diving Team returns to action for the first time since the CSI Invite later today as they host the Owls of Southern Connecticut State University in Northeast-10 Conference competition. The CSI men enter today's meet 3-2 on the season and the CSI women enter the day 2-5 on the year. The SCSU men enter today's meet with a record of 2-4, and the women come in 3-5. In their first two NE-10 meets earlier this season, the Dolphins lost to Adelphi on both the men's and women's sides. Against Pace eight days later, the men defeated the Setters and the women suffered their fourth loss. When the Dolphins faced the Owls last season, SCSU took the win for both the men and women.
Two weeks ago, Jessica Johnson, Anthony Attenborough, and Matt Bernstein all received weekly honors from the NE-10. Following a record-setting CSI Invite, Johnson and Attenborough were both named conference Swimmer of the Week. Bernstein was named Diver of the Week for his performance in the weekend meet which saw the Dolphins set five new program records.
