STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – The College of Staten Island men's and women's swimming & diving programs continued their success in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year. The women's team earned the Northeast 10 (NE10) Academic Team Excellence Award, four Dolphins were recognized with the NE10 Presidents' Award for Academic Excellence, and earlier this season, both programs were named College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Teams for the Fall 2025 semester.
Earlier today, the CSCAA announced its Spring 2026 Scholar All-America Teams, with both the CSI men's and women's swimming & diving teams once again earning recognition for their academic achievement.
The Spring 2026 Scholar All-America Teams, presented by Fitter & Faster Swim Camps, honored 714 teams from 418 institutions, representing 16,680 student-athletes across all collegiate divisions. To earn Scholar All-America recognition, teams were required to post a spring semester team GPA of 3.00 or higher.
Both Dolphin programs finished the academic year with the highest team GPAs in the CSI Athletics Department. The women's team posted a department-best 3.751 GPA while also producing four student-athletes with a perfect 4.0 GPA during the spring semester. The men's team followed with a 3.432 GPA and one student-athlete earning a 4.0 GPA.
