GAMEDAY: MEN'S BASKETBALL BEGINS 2025 WITH FIRST-EVER MATCHUP AGAINST VIRGINIA UNION

Staten Island, NY - The College of Staten Island Men's Basketball Team takes the court for the first time in 2025 tonight as they host Virginia Union University for their first-ever meeting at 7:00 PM. The Dolphins enter tonight's game 5-8 on the season and most recently lost to Bloomfield College in their final game of 2024. The Panthers are 6-7 on the year and have won back-to-back games entering their visit to CSI. Tonight's game against the Dolphins will be the second of three games that Virginia Union will play against the ECC this season. The Panthers defeated UDC earlier in the year and will face both CSI and St. Thomas Aquinas College during their visit to New York this week. For the Dolphins, tonight's game will be the third of four straight non-conference contests before returning to ECC competition against Mercy next Wednesday. CSI enters the day 3-7 in ten non-conference games this season.
