STATEN ISLAND, NY The College of Staten Island men's basketball team wrapped up a challenging three-game stretch last week, finishing 1–2 after hard-fought contests against RV Tampa, No. 15 Florida Southern, and RV Adelphi, CSI's lone win of the week, which also preserved the team's perfect 3–0 record at home. On Monday afternoon, the East Coast Conference (ECC) announced its weekly award winners, with Aaron Goldstein earning his first conference honor of the season following a career-best performance.

The junior guard delivered standout numbers throughout the week, highlighted by a record-setting 40-point outing at Tampa. The mark makes him the new record holder in a single game scoring feat, but it also ties him with current head coach T.J. Tibbs for the program's all-time Division II and III single-game scoring record. Goldstein followed up with a 30-point effort back at the Tank in the win over Adelphi, leading the Dolphins in the non-conference victory. He closed the week averaging 27.3 points per game, going a perfect 21-for-21 from the freethrow line while adding 13 rebounds, six steals, and four assists.

The ECC also recognized senior forward Asa Kone with an honorable mention after he posted back-to-back double-doubles; 13 points and 10 rebounds at Tampa, followed by 12 points and 12 rebounds against Florida Southern. Kone finished the week averaging 9.3 points and 11.3 rebounds per game.

On the women's side, Racky Kane has been the forefront of the lady Dolphins' offense so far this season and has also earned an Honorable Mention by the ECC when she led the team with 12.0 ppg, her highest value being 20-points in the victory over Goldey-Beacom.
