Rose and Edmonds opened the second half with continued scoring, pushing CSI's lead to seven at 36–29, however, UDC once again answered, reclaiming the lead at 38–36. The teams traded baskets down the stretch, but the Dolphins were unable to regain the lead, trailing 49–48 at the end of the third quarter.
The fourth featured limited scoring on both sides, with CSI outlasting UDC 9–7. Dito knocked down her third three-pointer of the game to give the Dolphins a 52–51 lead, which they held for the remainder of the contest to secure the one-point victory.
