GAMEDAY: MEN'S BASKETBALL HOSTS ROBERTS WESLEYAN IN NEED OF LATE-SEASON CONFERENCE WIN

Staten Island, NY - The College of Staten Island Men's Basketball Team is in need of a late-season conference win tonight as they host Roberts Wesleyan University at 7:00 PM. The Dolphins come in with a record of 9-16 on the year and 5-8 in conference play. Following losses to Mercy and St. Thomas Aquinas last week, the Dolphins fell out of an ECC playoff spot, but they remain very much alive in the race for the postseason. Roberts Wesleyan enters the night as the third seed in the conference with an overall record of 9-13 and a 6-6 conference record. The Red Hawks defeated the Dolphins with a late three in the closing seconds earlier this season, 93-90. This gave Roberts a 4-3 lead in the all-time series and sets them up to clinch any potential tiebreaker with the Dolphins if they win tonight. However, a Dolphins victory evens the two teams in the win column and keeps the door open for the Dolphins to host a postseason home game with three straight wins to end the season.
