GAMEDAY: MEN'S BASKETBALL VISITS MOLLOY LOOKING TO BOLSTER CHANCES OF PLAYOFF HOME GAME

Rockville Centre, NY - The College of Staten Island Men's Basketball Team will look to greatly bolster their chances of hosting a home game in the first round of the ECC playoffs when they visit Molloy University tonight at 7:30 PM. The Dolphins enter the night 10-16 on the season and 6-8 in conference play. The Lions come in 9-16 on the season and 5-9 in conference play. For the Dolphins, a win in their last two games would put them in position to host a home game in the first round of the ECC playoffs. A loss to Molloy would still leave the Dolphins alive in the race for a top-four seed, but it would also leave open the possibility of missing the postseason entirely with a loss to Queens in the team's season finale. Molloy must win their final two games to have a chance at the postseason including both tonight's game against CSI and their season finale against UDC. CSI has won each of the last three games against Molloy including an 87-77 victory earlier this season. With that victory, the Dolphins took a 5-2 lead in the all-time series.
