GAMEDAY: MEN'S BASKETBALL TAKES ON ROBERTS WESLEYAN IN ECC CHAMPIONSHIP OPENING ROUND

Rochester, NY - The College of Staten Island Men's Basketball Team will open their third trip to the East Coast Conference postseason tonight as they visit Roberts Wesleyan University in the opening round of the ECC Men's Basketball Championship. The Dolphins finished the regular season with a record of 11-17 overall and 7-9 in conference play. In their final outing of the regular season on Saturday, the Dolphins saw a 25-point lead get away in a loss to Queens College. The Redhawks also lost in their regular season finale as the Daemen University Wildcats completed a perfect 25-0 season with a win over the Redhawks on Saturday. The Dolphins and Redhawks split the regular season series with each team winning on their home floor. In the first meeting between the two teams in Rochester, the Red Hawks defeated the Dolphins with a go-ahead three in the closing seconds, 93-90. At The Tank, the Dolphins picked up a decisive victory over RWU on Alumni Day, 74-52. The all-time series is tied at 4-4 entering the night, and the home team has won every meeting between the two teams.
