Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

CSI OPENS ROAD SLATE WITH DRAW VERSUS DOMINICAN (NY)

Orangeburg, NY - The College of Staten Island women's soccer team played its first road match of the 2025 season on Saturday afternoon against Dominican University (NY). In contrast to last year's high-scoring 4-3 result in favor of the Chargers, this year's meeting ended in a scoreless draw. With the result, the Dolphins move to 1-1-1 on the season.

Dominican controlled much of the attack, recording 16 shots over the course of the match. Goalkeeper Brianna Dore recorded four saves to preserve the shutout and secure the draw. Riley Hammond generated consecutive shots on goal in the opening minutes of the second half, followed shortly by an additional attempt from Sara O'Donnell.

The Dolphins will be back in action on Wednesday versus Saint Michael's College in Albany, NY at the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Kick of set for 2:00 PM.
