STATEN ISLAND, NY – The College of Staten Island women's soccer team hosts a dedication game to Morgan's Message Wednesday afternoon with East Coast Conference (ECC) opponents Molloy Univeristy at 1:00 PM. Morgan's Message is a non-profit organization that strives to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health within the student-athlete community and works to equalize the treatment of physical and mental health in athletics. Together we can break the stigma. 

In their last meeting in October 2024, the Lions earned a 3-1 victory over the Dolphins, securing their fourth straight win in the series. CSI fell behind early after an eighth-minute goal but quickly responded with an equalizer off a free kick. The Lions regained the lead before halftime and added another goal in the second half to secure the 3-1 win.

 CSI enters the matchup with a 1-3-1 overall record and a 0-1 mark in conference play, while Molloy stands at 2-2-2 overall and 0-0-1 in the conference. Millie Hunt and Sara O'Donnell lead the Dolphins' offense with two points each on a goal apiece. In net, the goalkeeping duo of Brianna Dore (12 saves) and Oksana Zahirna (26 saves) have combined for 38 stops. Zahirna recently set a program record with 22 saves in a single game against Saint Michael's, a performance that earned her a spot on the ECC Honor Roll on Monday.
