Ede and Hric Continue to Shine
Rookie standout Ede and veteran thrower Hric continue to raise the bar this season, each setting school records at the previous meet. Ede, who has been a key contributor to the team's relay success throughout the indoor campaign, etched his name into the record books with an individual mark in the 400-meter race, clocking a time of 49.63. The performance, recorded at the Gotham Cup, places the freshman atop the East Coast Conference (ECC) 400-meter leaderboard, ahead of Elcock (50.47) and Riley (50.85).
Hric has turned consistency into excellence, competing against his own standards as he reset the school record in the weight throw for the third consecutive meet. Beginning at the Seahawk Shootout, Hric posted a throw of 12.16 meters, followed by a new mark of 12.22 meters one week later at the Spartan Invitational. At the Gotham Cup, he capped off the event with a final throw of 13.11 meters, once again rewriting the school record books.
CSI on Top of ECC Leaderboards
