Doran is going into his seventh year as an assistant with the Dolphins' successful program, and was elevated to his current Associate Head Coach position in the summer of 2020. He came to the Dolphins fresh off of a playing career at Wesley College in Dover, Delaware. In two years with the Wolverines as the teams went 37-20 and Doran was a key component of those teams in a limited role his freshman and sophomore seasons.
Now an assistant, Doran is a key cog in the Dolphins' recruiting efforts, spreading himself around the tri-state area assessing and evaluating talent while hosting on-campus visits for potential basketball hopefuls.
