Fresh off of a sensational career with the Dolphins, former point guard Victoria Crea will now double as an assistant coach with the team, having been hired by new head coach Nicole Sarcone in the fall of 2018.
Crea had a tremendous career at CSI beginning in 2014, when she transferred to the College from NCAA Division II NYIT. In 2014-15, Crea was a three-sport star at CSI, participating in Cross-Country as well as Swimming, where she earned All-Star status in both. An injury sidelined Crea for the 2014-15 season, but she returned to enjoy a sensational career on the hardwood for the next two seasons from 2016-18, helping CSI to their first CUNYAC Championship in the sport in 12 years during the 2016-17 season.
For her career, Crea tallied 818 career points while dishing 268 assists and 147 steals. Her abilities as a floor general will now be leaned upon as she helps guide the Dolphins' back court from the sidelines. Crea's physical play, which made her a terrific rebounder despite her size will also be looked at as a strength as a coach to teach to the younger classes at CSI.
