11/11/24 - East Coast Conference Player of the Week & Defensive Player of the Week

Alarcon got her season off to a strong start averaging 21.0 points per game, 5.5 rebounds per game, 5.5 steals per game, and 4.0 assists per game in a 1-1 week for the Dolphins. The CSI senior opened the season on Friday with 25 points, six rebounds, and six steals in a 72-47 win over Franklin Pierce. She then followed up that effort with another 17 points, five rebounds, and five steals on Saturday against Holy Family. Alarcon led all ECC players nominated for this week’s Player of the Week in free throw percentage (12-for-15), steals (11), and assists (8) and ranked second in scoring (21.0 points per game) and field goal percentage (48.0).

11/18/24 - East Coast Conference Player of the Week & Defensive Player of the Week

Alarcon helped lead the Dolphins to another 1-1 week behind averages of 22.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 3.0 steals per game. On Wednesday against Bloomfield, the senior scored 21 points and grabbed 14 boards alongside three steals. On Saturday against Post, Alarcon scored another 25 points and notched five rebounds and three steals in the Dolphins’ 72-68 victory. With her six steals on the week, the CSI senior has increased her total for the season with 17. Through two weeks, Alarcon is averaging 21.8 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 4.25 steals per game.

11/25/24 - East Coast Conference Player of the Week & Defensive Player of the Week

Alarcon helped drive a 2-0 week for the Dolphins with averages of 17.0 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.0 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game. In a 76-38 win over Wilmington, Alarcon grabbed 12 rebounds (10 defensive) and scrapped with seven points, four steals, three assists, and two blocks in 30 minutes. In the 68-64 overtime win vs. Pace, the CSI senior dropped 21 points on 7-of-9 shooting from the field and 7-of-9 shooting from the stripe with seven rebounds, five assists, two steals, and a block; Alarcon hit two clutch free throws to tie the game in the closing seconds of regulation. The Dolphins are now on a three-game winning streak.

1/13/25 - East Coast Conference Player of the Week

Alarcon led Staten Island to a pair of conference wins this week behind averages of 15.0 points per game and 9.5 rebounds per game. In Wednesday’s 60-58 win over Mercy, the CSI senior registered 17 points, nine rebounds, two assists, and two steals before dropping her second double-double of the season with 13 points and 10 rebounds in a 57-44 win over St. Thomas Aquinas on Saturday.

1/27/25 - East Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Week

Alarcon helped lead the Dolphins to another 2-0 week in conference play with averages of 16.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 4.0 steals per game. In Wednesday's 28-point win over Molloy, the CSI senior forward helped hold the Lions to just 46 points while posting 20 points, six rebounds (five defensive), and four steals. In Saturday's 68-60 win over Queens,  Alarcon registered another 12 points, seven rebounds (all defensive), and four steals.

East Coast Conference Player of the Year

Alarcon topped the ECC in both steals (67) and free throws made (122) at the conclusion of the regular season. She also ranked in the league’s top five in scoring (14.4 ppg), field goal percentage (46.5), free throw percentage (75.3), rebounding (215/7.7 rbg) and defensive rebounding (162/5.8 rbg), and blocked shots (26). The five-time ECC Player of the Week and four-time ECC Defensive Player of the Week scored in double figures 21 times, recorded three double-doubles, and posted 14 games with three or more steals to lead the Dolphins to a 20-8 overall mark and 13-3 split in ECC play.

Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association Division II Player of the Year

A 5-9 senior forward from Troy, NY, Alarcon led the Dolphins (21-9, 13-3 ECC) in scoring, rebounding, and shooting percentage both from the floor and at the free throw line. She averaged a career-high 14.5 points (No. 4 ECC), 7.4 rebounds (5th ECC) while shooting 49.2% from the field (3rd ECC) and 75.6% at the free throw line. She was tops in the conference with 71 steals.  Alarcon, who started all 30 games for the Dolphins, scored in double figures 22 times and had three double-doubles. She posted 23 points and seven rebounds in CSI’s ECC tournament semifinal victory over Mercy, a win which propelled CSI into the conference championship game for the first time.  For her four-year career at Staten Island, Alarcon played in 113 games, registering 1,390 points, 906 rebounds, 225 assists, 93 blocks and 168 steals.  Named to the All-Met Second Teams in both 2023 and 2024, Alarcon was selected to the D2CCA All-East Region First Team for 2024-25.

East Coast Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year

An information systems and informatics major with a 3.81 GPA within CSI’s Macaulay Honors College, Alarcon was selected as the 2025 ECC Women’s Basketball Player of the Year and Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association Division II Women’s Basketball Player of the Year. The CSI senior forward topped the ECC in both steals (67) and free throws made (122) and ranked in the league’s top five in scoring (14.4 points per game), rebounding (215/7.7 rebounds per game), and blocks (26). Alarcon, a five-time ECC Player of the Week and four-time ECC Defensive Player of the Week, scored in double figures 21 times and led the Dolphins to the ECC Championship title game. She was also named to the ECC All-Tournament Team and Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-East Region First Team.
