The College of Staten Island women's basketball team is officially back on a win streak, coming off of wins against conference-rivals John Jay and CCNY. Tonight they will look to continue the rally, as they play host to Baruch College at The Tank at 5:30pm, still tied atop the CUNYAC standings.

Players to Watch (CSI): Senior
Christina Pasaturo leads the way this season averaging 23.7 points per game, leading the conference. Against CCNY on Monday, she hit the 2,000-point mark, becoming the third CUNYAC women's basketball player to turn the feat. Pasaturo also leads the team with 80 assists and 68 steals, while placing second on the team with 6.3 rebounds per game average.
Samantha Flecker has been pouring it on of late too, averaging 14.9 points per contest to go with a team-best 7.4 rebounds per game. Look for
Diana Todaro to play a more significant role than in the last meeting. Todaro has been a starter since an injury to
Jacquelyn Cali and is averaging 5.7 points and 5.0 rebounds per game in 13.2 minutes per contest.
Players to Watch (BC): The Bearcats have three players averaging in double figures, led by Shannon Barrett's 18 points per game and 11.3 rebounds per game. Barrett is also a legitimate deep threat, having canned30 three-pointers in 107 attempts. Melinda Spahiu is next in line at 14.2 points per contest and is also averaging a healthy 8.7 rebounds per game. She is the team's assist leader having tallied 50 helpers in total. Right behind her is Daniela Arias, who has tallied 46 helpers and is averaging 13.1 points per game. Lissette Debord is worth keeping eyes on. She averages 6.6 rebounds per contest.
News & Notes: After winning every game in the series for eight years, Baruch has seen the series shift in favor of CSI. The Dolphins have won four out of the last five meetings by an average of 26 points per contest. That included a 76-46 win at Baruch just a few short weeks ago.
Samantha Flecker led CSI with 23 points on 10-18 shooting from the field, while Pasaturo was right behind with 22 markers, that included a 6-12 clip from behind the arc. Spahiu led Baruch with 12 points, while Barrett went for 10 points and 12 rebounds in 37 minutes. CSI forced 28 BC turnovers on Jan. 6, and out-rebounded the Bearcats by a final tally of 52-39. CSI is just 12-10 all-time at home against Baruch College all-time, and the Dolphins are 6-2 on their home floor this season. Baruch is 2-6 on the road, and had lost three-straight conference road matches before a 74-72 win on Friday against York College. CSI's calling card has been their ability to spread the ball around offensively. They are ranked second in the nation in total assists with 355. The Dolphins are also ranked fourth in the nation in turnover margin at a +12.6 this season. They were a +11 the last time these two teams faced off. For Baruch, they'd like to be able to continue to stay out of foul trouble. They have been called for the 21st fewest fouls in NCAA Division III out of 435 schools. Their ability to keep teams off of the foul line has been critical to their success.
