Staten Island, NY – The College of Staten Island Women's Basketball team (1-1 Overall) will welcome the Chargers of the University of New Haven (2-0 Overall) for the first time in the Tank at the Sports & Recreation Center. Game time is set for 5:30 PM. Fans are permitted to attend, however, all fans MUST follow our
Winter Spectator Policy to attend. Though, this is CSI's first time hosting the Chargers, CSI played them in their home court in 2019, one of their few DII opponents during the 2019-20 season prior to COVID. CSI lost that matchup, 68-57, thus will be looking for some vengeance as this time the Chargers visit the Dolphins home floor tonight.
LAST TIME OUT
This past weekend, the Dolphins hosted their first ever Conference Challenge Tip-off Tournament as a DII program, breaking even, picking up a win and a loss to start their 2021-22 season over the weekend. First, CSI beat Wilmington University, 65-63, for their first DII win in program history as well as their first win of the season. Then on Sunday, CSI lost to Holy Family University, 59-50, a game that, if it wasn't for a third quarter offensive drought, CSI may have won that game as they held a halftime lead.
