LAST TIME OUT

This past Wednesday, CSI's men's basketball team picked up their second win of the season when they defeated fellow CUNY institution and ECC rival Queens College, 67-64. The win, the second straight for CSI, is the first against a conference opponent this season. CSI's women's basketball team played nearly two weeks ago, due to health and safety protocols. In that last, the team suffered their worst loss of the season when they fell to the Eagles of Post University by a score of, 88-58. The Lions men's team come in off a twenty-plus point loss and have lost four of their last five games played. Meanwhile, the Lions women's squad have dropped their last two games by double-digits.

DOLPHINS TO WATCH

For the men, Bryce Waterman looks to continue his hot stretch of shooting. In his last three games, Waterman has scored 15 or more points and hit 15-35 three's, a 43% shooting clip. Messiah Mallory will also look to continue his fine play on both ends. Mallory is the only starter to shoot over 40% from the field and from three. On the defensive end, he averages nearly two blocks per game to go along with eight rebounds per-game, while logging the most minutes on the court.

On the women's side, Elizabeth Lofaro is still the only Dolphin with a double-digit scoring average with 10.6 points per-game on the season. Jenalyse Alarcon is right behind Lofaro in points-per game with 9.8, nearly averaging a double-double to go along with her 10.2 rebounds per-game. Coming off her best game the last time CSI played is, Noemia Massingue who dropped 22 points on an efficient 6-11 from the floor, including 9-11 from the free throw line.
