KEY MOMENTS
Game 1
The Knights deemed to have control of this game from the get-go. They broke the seal in the bottom of the first inning to take an early 1-0 lead. They added to that total in the third and fifth innings as they combined for five runs, giving them a 6-0 advantage. The Dolphins would finally get on the board in the top of the sixth inning as they tallied two runs. This was sparked by an Acosta fly-out to right field. CSI would fall short 6-2.
Game 2
Both squads would go runless throughout the first three innings of play. Queens College would scratch first in the bottom of the fourth to take a 1-0 lead. The Dolphins would answer in the top of the seventh with two runs of their own. This was done behind an Aponte single to right field which led to a Carcano score. They closed the inning with a Carreon single through the left side as Mochrie scored. This gave them the lead, 2-1.
