Rochester, NY – The College of Staten Island Men's & Women's Outdoor Track & Field teams competed in their final event of the season. They took part in the East Coast Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, NY. They would set 11 personal records, three school records, and three season bests between both the men's and women's squads. Full results can be found

INSIDE THE MEET
In the 100m,
Vincent Ohenhen came in fourth place with a time of 11.25. Kyle Quesda set a personal record with a time of 11.64 as he placed in ninth. For the women,
Caitlyn Burns came in sixth place with a time of 13.15. In the 200m, Ohenhen set a new school record as he finished in second with a time of 22.40. Quesda would set another personal record of his own with a time of 23.56 as he placed in 10
th.
Jordan Thompson ran for a season-best time of 23.09 which catapulted him in to seventh place. For the women, Burns would also set a personal record as she came in seventh place with a time of 26.88. In the 800m,
Ahmed Khodir came in fifth place with a time of 2:02.55. In the 4 x 100m relays, the men would set a school record with a time of 45.48 as they came in fourth. In the 4 x 400m, the men tallied a season best as they finished in fifth place with a time of 3:33.94. For the women, they also set a season best with a time of 4:36.73 as they came in seventh place. Florentina Lonati set a new personal record in javelin with a throw of 28.72 as she finished in third. In hammer throw,
Skylar Pointer and
Ava Thompson would both set personal records. Pointer came in fourth place as she threw for a distance of 36.16, and Thompson came in seventh with a distance of 32.38.
