DOLPHINS GRAB TWO EAST COAST CONFERENCE HONORS FOR THE SECOND CONSECUTIVE WEEK

4/10/2023 12:30:00 PM

Staten Island, NY - It was announced today that two Dolphins have received two East Coast Conference honors for events taking place from April 3rd through April 9th.  For Baseball, John Esposito was named East Coast Conference Pitcher of the week for the second time this season.  For CSI Track & Field, Jazmine Severo received Field Athlete of the Week recognition.  The pair of accolades follow the two honors received by CSI Baseball last week when AJ Vigliotti was named East Coast Conference Player of the Week and Ryan Kehoe was named East Coast Conference Pitcher of the Week.

Esposito started for the Dolphins on Saturday against Alliance University and pitched his first shutout of the season.  In his third complete game effort of 2023, Esposito struck out 15 and allowed just four hits in the victory over the Warriors.  His ERA for the season is now back below 4.00 and he evened up his record at 3-3.
