GAMEDAY: WOMEN'S BASKETBALL FACES POST IN SECOND STRAIGHT NON-CONFERENCE ROAD GAME

Waterbury, CT - The College of Staten Island Women's Basketball Team will play their second consecutive non-conference road game this afternoon as they visit the Eagles of Post University at 2:00 PM. The Dolphins enter today's game 1-2 coming off a loss on Wednesday at Bloomfield College. After falling behind by double-figures in the third quarter, the Dolphins came all the way back to tie the score in the fourth. Despite 21 points from Jenalyse Alarcon, who reach 1000 career points on Wednesday, and 19 more from Dana Phelan, the CSI comeback fell short. The Eagles enter today's matchup with the Dolphins 0-3, and they have lost each of their first three games by double-figures. However, the Eagles have already faced regionally ranked competition this season and are 3-0 all-time against the Dolphins dating back to the 2019-2020 season. After decisive wins over CSI in each of the first two meetings, the Eagles scored with four seconds remaining to knock off the Dolphins at The Tank last season.
