GAMEDAY: WOMEN'S BASKETBALL HOSTS MOLLOY ON SENIOR NIGHT WITH PLAYOFF SPOT IN HAND

Staten Island, NY - The College of Staten Island Women's Basketball Team hosts Molloy University at The Tank tonight at 5:30 PM on Senior Night 2024. The Dolphins will celebrate five seniors this evening, Ashley Lambert, Kaia Johnson, Elizabeth Lofaro, Brianna Moore, and Oyinkansola Oke. The Dolphins enter tonight's game 9-16 on the year and 6-8 in conference play following last week's win against Roberts Wesleyan. The Lions come in with a 10-15 overall record and are 4-10 against the ECC. Because Molloy would need a win over UDC to tie CSI in the conference standings, the Dolphins have already clinched a playoff berth in the ECC. This is because a Molloy win over UDC would drop the Firebirds to the four seed and assure Mercy the three seed. This means that the Dolphins would win any tiebreaker over the Lions if both teams finished 6-10 in conference play. The Dolphins defeated the Lions earlier this season to ensure they could not lose a head-to-head tiebreaker with a loss tonight.
