GAMEDAY: WATCH CSI ESPORTS COMPETE FOR TWO CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS ON TWITCH

Brooklyn, NY - College of Staten Island Esports will look to add two more conference championships to their trophy case this afternoon as the Dolphins will head to Brooklyn for the East Coast Conference Rocket League Championship and Overwatch 2 Championship. In the Rocket League finals, the #1 seed Dolphins will face the #2 seed University of New Haven at 11:00 AM. In the Overwatch 2 Championship the #2 seed Dolphins will take on the #1 seed Southern New Hampshire University at 12:30 PM. All of today's ECC Championship events will be streamed live from BrookLAN to the ECC Network channel on Twitch.tv.

During the regular season the Dolphins faced the Chargers in Rocket League picking up a 3-1 victory in the best-of-five games format. In Overwatch 2, the Dolphins faced Southern New Hampshire University twice during the regular season. In the first meeting, the Dolphins defeated the Penmen 3-0. In the second matchup, the Penmen defeated the Dolphins by that same score.

The Dolphins have been a consistent presence atop the ECC in Esports since the program's inception in 2020. Most recently, the Dolphins secured a Rocket League Championship in the Fall with a thrilling 4-3 over New York Tech in the ECC Grand Finals. In Overwatch 2, the Dolphins faced SNHU in the ECC Grand Finals this past December. It was a decisive 4-0 win for the Dolphins as they captured yet another conference championship.
