CSI Overwatch travels to the Brooklyn campus of Long Island University to take on Brooklyn College in the first ever City University of New York (CUNY) Grand Finals in Overwatch 2 taking place Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 10am. CSI finished the CUNY regular season with a 5-1 record heading into the championship match after gaining a bye into the championship via forfeit from the CCNY Beavers. The Brooklyn College Bulldogs finished the regular season 3-3 and beat Baruch in the semifinals to advance to the Grand Finals. CSI was the victor in both contests during the regular season against Brooklyn with 2-0 and 3-1 wins respectively. CSI is looking for their first championship this academic year as they have fallen short in the ECC and ECAC tournaments this season, including its most recent appearance in the ECC Grand Finals just last month.
