ALARCON NAMED ECC PLAYER OF THE WEEK FOR FOURTH TIME

Staten Island, NY - Jenalyse Alarcon is back at the forefront of the ECC Women's Basketball Weekly Report as she has been named the conference Player of the Week for the fourth time this season. Alarcon posted averages of 15.0 points and 9.5 rebounds per game during a week which saw the Dolphins go 2-0 in conference play. The picked up wins over Mercy University on the road and St. Thomas Aquinas at home during the past seven days to improve the conference record to 4-1. The pair of wins extended the team's conference winning streak to four games and put them in sole possession of second place in the conference standings at the midway point of January.

In Wednesday's win over the Mavericks Alarcon came one rebound shy of a double-double finishing with 17 points and 9 rebounds. She also added a pair of assists and two more steals in the CSI victory as she continues to shine at both ends of the floor. On Saturday against the Spartans, the senior notched her second double-double of the year with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
