GAMEDAY: WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TAKES ON DAEMEN WITH SIGHTS SET ON ECC'S TOP SEED

Amherst, NY - The College of Staten Island Women's Basketball Team has their sights set on the top seed in the East Coast Conference as they visit Daemen University tonight at 5:30 PM. The Dolphins enter tonight's game 13–6 on the season and 7-1 in conference play with their lone loss coming against the Wildcats earlier this season. Last time the two teams met, the Wildcats defeated the Dolphins by six at The Tank, 54–48. Daemen is 12-6 on the year and still unbeaten in conference play at 8-0. The Dolphins enter tonight's game on a five-game winning streak and the Wildcats come in winners of fourth straight. Both teams were recently ranked in the top 10 of the D2CSC East Region poll this past week with the Wildcats being ranked seventh and the Dolphins being ranked tenth. This placement in the D2CSC top 10 was the first-ever appearance for the Dolphins in the regional rankings. Also receiving an individual accolade this week was Jenalyse Alarcon who was named East Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the fourth time this season.
