STATEN ISLAND, NY – The College of Staten Island women's soccer team begins a four-game road trip on Wednesday afternoon, taking on St. Thomas Aquinas College (STAC) at 12:00 PM in Sparkill, NY. Both teams are still searching for their first conference win of the season, with the Dolphins entering the match at 0-2 and the Spartans at 0-1.
The Dolphins are currently led by three goal scorers: Millie Hunt, Sara O'Donnell, and Annika Jurik, who recorded her first collegiate goal on Saturday against Goldey-Beacom. Mazzy Cirinelli has also contributed with an assist, marking her first point of the season. Last week, Brianna Dore appeared in goal for CSI and made a total of 10 saves.
In their previous meeting at Dolphin Soccer Park, the match ended in a 2-2 draw. The Dolphins currently lead the all-time series, 2-1-1 with a road record of 2-0.
