AMHERST, NY - The College of Staten Island men's soccer team will wrap up their regular season on the road against Daemen University (NY) this Saturday at 2:30 p.m. The Dolphins earned their first win over the Wildcats in 2024, securing a 3–2 victory with a late insurance goal.
Despite last season's win, the Wildcats hold the all-time series advantage with three victories to the Dolphins' one. This season, CSI is led by Peterson Larose and Wolfgang Alvarado, who each have six points, while Koray Arslan and William Lopez have added four apiece. For Daemen, two players lead the team with four points, followed by another with three.
The Dolphins are coming off a 0-0 draw against Mercy on Saturday, October 25, where Carlos Romero Astacio made two saves to secure his 30th of the season and the shutout. Meanwhile, the Wildcats enter the matchup on a 14-game losing streak, with their lone win of the season coming in early September against Malone.
