Michael Meagher has been named the 15th head coach of the men's soccer program in March 2026.
Meagher has been a member of the CSI men's soccer staff since 2023, when he joined the program as an assistant coach under former head coach Alex Cuba. During his time on staff, the Dolphins made their first East Coast Conference (ECC) postseason appearance in the Division II era. He also played a key role in the program's academic success, helping the team earn the second-highest GPA in the athletics department in 2025 with a cumulative 3.470.
A familiar figure in the Staten Island soccer community, Meagher has been coaching locally since 2011. He began with SI United SC, where he also spent two years as the club's Girls Program Coordinator before the organization merged with Cedar Stars Academy's Staten Island branch in 2016.
In 2013, Meagher returned to his alma mater, Monsignor Farrell High School, as the head junior varsity coach, a role he held for 10 years. Between 2017 and 2022, his teams made three city final appearances and captured two Archdiocesan Championships.
