MEET DAY: SWIM & DIVE HOST PACE UNIVERSITY; WOMEN ALSO FACE HUNTER COLLEGE

STATEN ISLAND, NY - The College of Staten Island men's and women's swimming and diving teams will host a Northeast 10 (NE10) matchup against Pace University, while the women will also face former CUNYAC opponent Hunter College in a tri-meet.

The Dolphins and Pace first met during the 2007–08 season, when both the men's and women's teams earned wins in New York. Since then, the CSI men hold an 8-2-1 all-time series lead, including a 174.00-111.00 victory in 2024-25, while the women trail the Setters, 1-10. Both the men's and women's teams at Pace competed against Adelphi and Saint Michael's to open conference play to start their season; the men dropped to both the Panthers and Purple Knights, while the women's cruised to a 2-0 sweep of their opening meets.

In the NE10 Weekly Awards, both the Dolphins and Setters have been well-represented, particularly on the women's side. After week one, CSI nearly swept the honors, earning Rookie of the Week (Maria Janceka) and Diver of the Week (Jacqueline DeFranco), however, during the Dolphins' gap week, Pace claimed both Swimmer and Diver of the Week honors. Yubal Parra has been a consistent presence for the NE10 Diver of the Week notion for the men as he has earned the recognition twice in the two competing weeks for the Dolphins.

From CSI's Division III days to its current Division II era, the Dolphins and Hawks have met regularly since the 1999–2000 season. The CSI women enter this matchup riding a three-meet winning streak over Hunter, including a 171.00-73.00 victory last season. The Hawks opened their current campaign with a non-conference meet against Kean University on Friday, October 31.
