TRACK & FIELD BREAKS THREE MORE RECORDS AT 2025 PENN RELAYS

Philadelphia, PA - The College of Staten Island Track & Field Team completed in the 2025 Penn Relays today breaking a three more program records.  For the CSI men, new 4x200 and 4x400 Relay records were set.  The CSI women also set a new record in the 4x200.  The Dolphins also had their first-ever individual competitor at the meet as Adonijah Washington competed in the Triple Jump.

The CSI men competed in multiple relay events throughout the day beginning with the 4x100.  In the event, Sam Whelan, Nicholas Runfola, Steven Elcock, and Vincent Ohenhen combined to post a time of 42.66s.  That same squad then proceeded to set a new program record in the 4x200 with a time of 1:28.58.  Finally, in the 4x400, Zayden WilliamsIbrahima Diallo, and Josmy Cerda joined Elcock to set another new record with a time of 3:21.38.

The 4x200 record-setting time of 1:46.40 for the CSI women in the came from the squad of Washington, Inioluwa Ogunfowora, Alexandrea Jackson, and Precious Dillon.  Washington also competed individually in the Triple Jump posting a distance of 10.89m.

The Dolphins will compete in the East Coast Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championship to conclude their season on Thursday, May 1st.
