Staten Island, NY – Chris Polemeni added two more accolades to his historic season during the past two weeks as he earned spots on both the ABCA / Rawlings All-East Region Team and D2CCA All-East Region Team. On Wednesday, the American Baseball Coaches Association named Polemeni to the All-East Region First Team. Earlier in the month, the Division II Conference Commissioners Association also voted Polemeni to the All-East Region Second Team.
Polemeni slugged an ECC-leading .751 during the regular season and went on to to tie a CSI single-season record with 14 home runs. He also scored 53 runs, drove in 47 and stole 14 bases. He was two-time ECC Player of the Week before going on to be named the conference Player of the Year. After breaking the single-season program stolen bases record during an impressive freshman campaign, the sophomore helped lead the Dolphins to their first Division II playoff berth in the history of the program this year.
Polemeni now has collected five individual honors since the conclusion of the 2025 regular season
The honors for Polemeni give him five since the conclusion of the regular season. Earlier this month, he was named CSI Male Co-Athlete of the Year, earned ECC Player of the Year, and was named to the NCBWA All-Region First Team.
