STATEN ISLAND, NY – The College of Staten Island women's soccer team opens East Coast Conference (ECC) play this afternoon against Roberts Wesleyan at Dolphins Soccer Park in Staten Island, NY. Roberts holds a 4-0 advantage in the all-time series, though the Dolphins have kept the last two meetings tightly contested, falling by a narrow 1-0 margin on both occasions.
In their most recent contest against Saint Michael's on Sept. 17, goalkeeper Oksana Zahirna set a new program record with 22 saves, marking the highest single-game total in both the Division II and Division III eras. The Dolphins currently sit with a 1-2-1 record while the Redhawks are 2-1-1.
