GOLDSTEIN ADDS NABC ALL-DISTRICT SECOND TEAM HONORS TO JUNIOR CAMPAIGN

STATEN ISLAND, NY – Aaron Goldstein put together a record-breaking junior campaign, rewriting single-season and single-game marks while also becoming a member of the CSI men's basketball 1,000-point club. His standout season earned him his first All-ECC honor, a D2CCA First Team selection, and, on Monday morning, a spot on the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) East Region Second Team.

Goldstein is the lone representative from the College of Staten Island on the NABC East Region list, with the Dolphins one of just two East Coast Conference (ECC) programs recognized.

During his record breaking junior season, Goldstein is listed in various categories in the CSI men's basketball all-time and Division II era record books. He currently holds a career free throw percentage of .852 (241-283), which sits him first throughout both eras of CSI men's basketball. Goldstein also recorded the program's Division II single-game scoring record with a 40-point performance against Tampa and set the Division II single-season scoring mark with 615 total points. In just three seasons, Goldstein joined the 1,000-point club, the fourth in Division II for the program, and currently ranks second in CSI's Division II era with 1,264 career points.
