STATEN ISLAND, NY – The College of Staten Island softball team enters Saturday on a four-game winning streak, opening East Coast Conference (ECC) play with back-to-back doubleheader sweeps. The Dolphins will look to extend that momentum when they host D'Youville University at the CSI Softball Complex for another ECC doubleheader.
2025 Meeting Recap / All-Time Series
In 2025, the Dolphins fell just one game short of qualifying for their first ECC postseason appearance of the Division II era. Facing the Saints in the final doubleheader of the regular season, CSI needed a sweep to secure a playoff berth. After earning a 2-1 win in game one, the Dolphins came up short in game two, falling 10-8.
D'Youville leads the all-time series, 12-8. The Saints opened the matchup with a seven-game winning streak before the Dolphins earned their first victory in 2022.
