COLLEGE OF STATEN ISLAND ATHLETICS

Alyson Chiaramonte

Alyson Chiaramonte will make her College of Staten Island coaching debut as an assistant in 2021.  Chiaramonte previously coached at St Joseph’s College from 2013-2015 and Hunter College from 2016-2019. Her primary focus was working with the pitchers and catchers.  She is returning to the college ranks after working on the youth circuit for the past two years.

Alyson was a four year starter at St Joseph’s College and was one of the most decorated student-athletes in St. Joseph’s College history. As a standout pitcher, she finished her playing career with five perfect games and nine no-hitters in her career, tallying 65 career wins in the circle along with 675 strikeouts to go with a sparkling 1.25 earned run average. She also excelled at the dish and is the all-time hits leader (184) while maintaining a third-highest .424 career batting average.

Chiaramonte received her bachelor's degree in Recreation and Sports Management from St. Joseph's College and now works for NYC Parks and Recreation.
