Alyson Chiaramonte will make her College of Staten Island coaching debut as an assistant in 2021. Chiaramonte previously coached at St Joseph’s College from 2013-2015 and Hunter College from 2016-2019. Her primary focus was working with the pitchers and catchers. She is returning to the college ranks after working on the youth circuit for the past two years.
Alyson was a four year starter at St Joseph’s College and was one of the most decorated student-athletes in St. Joseph’s College history. As a standout pitcher, she finished her playing career with five perfect games and nine no-hitters in her career, tallying 65 career wins in the circle along with 675 strikeouts to go with a sparkling 1.25 earned run average. She also excelled at the dish and is the all-time hits leader (184) while maintaining a third-highest .424 career batting average.
Chiaramonte received her bachelor's degree in Recreation and Sports Management from St. Joseph's College and now works for NYC Parks and Recreation.
